Everything is made in your browser, and nothing is uploaded. The pictures are standard range (SDR); none is HDR.

| Save PNG | The grid as you see it, at the size of the frame on your screen, as cellular-automata-gen<N>.png, where N is the generation. |
| Copy image | The same picture, on the clipboard, where the browser allows it. |
| Copy RLE | The live cells as RLE text on the clipboard: a header with the width, the height and the B/S rule, then the cells in runs. |
RLE keeps only live cells, cut to the smallest box that holds them. Brian's Brain dying cells and WireWorld's wire and tails are not in it, and the ant of Langton's ant is not saved.
The rule in the header is the last B/S rule set, so it means most for Game of Life, Day & Night, Seeds and Custom.
A grid with no live cells copies as an empty pattern.
