Gradient studio guide
Three looks
Each picture below was made in Gradient studio in a 960-pixel-wide frame. The table under each one is the whole recipe; everything not listed stays as the page opens. Press a preset first, since it replaces the colour stops.
Neon burst
Neon has five stops, from pink through violet to cyan. Burst sends each ray from the first stop out to the last and back, so pink and cyan rays take turns round the middle.
The rays are thin near the centre and widen towards the edges.

| Ray count | 16 |
Lower Ray count to 3 for a few broad petals.
Copper stripes
Copper turns on Add noise, so a soft grain sits over the stripes. Each stripe holds the stops twice, and the second run is turned backwards, so the stripes shine like folded metal instead of stepping.
The CSS box holds the same shaded stripes, repeat and mirror included; only the grain stays on the canvas and in the PNG.

| Reverse every other one | On |
Turn Reverse every other one off to see the hard edges come back.
Aurora spiral
Aurora runs from green through blue to violet. The spiral winds that run round the middle; where the violet end meets the green start again, a sharp line shows the arm.
