Effect
What this is
Seam melt uses seam carving, which removes the path of pixels that matters least to the picture, one seam after another. The area you tap is protected, so the background melts away first and the subject survives longest.
How to use it
- Tap the part of the image that should survive.
- Pick a preset, or set carve amount and protection with the sliders.
- Press replay to watch it melt, then save a PNG or record a video.

Common questions
Where do my pictures go?
Nowhere. They are opened in your browser and drawn on your graphics card. Nothing is uploaded. The pictures you add stay on this device, in this browser, so the other lab tools can open them too; × on a picture removes it.
