Three looks

Each picture below was made from the tool's own sample, the 192 × 192 logo. No sound was playing: the moving pictures come from the Animation modes alone. The table under each one is the whole recipe, in order; everything not listed stays as the page opens.

Press Advanced first, as the tables do, to reach the finer settings; Effects starts closed. Sliders under Sampling apply as you move them; the tables still press Resample to start each mode from a fresh clock. The moving modes never look the same twice, so yours will differ in the detail.

Square dots, standing still

A wider Grid step leaves room between the dots, and bigger dots fill it back in. The squares line up in rows, like a sign made of lights, and each keeps the red or blue it was read from.

In Still, move over the letters to scatter the squares; they spring back when you leave.

Try Grid step at 1 and Dot max at 1.5 for a fine, soft version of the same picture.

A golden spiral on navy

The dots leave the letters and are pulled into curling arms around the middle, where many of them pile up. The navy background and one flat colour make the arms easy to follow.

Raise Trail under Effects and the arms leave curling streaks.

White curl drift

The dots float on curl noise, which moves them in smooth whirls without bunching them up, while two unseen points circle the middle and tug at them. The trail turns each dot into a short comet.

Curl drift adds the glow colour for part of each loop, so the white dots turn faintly mint.

Pick another glow colour, such as Violet, and the tint follows it.
