Lumen light guide
Three looks
Each picture below was made in Lumen light from its two sample pictures, with a preset and Replay, and caught partway through the run. The table lists the buttons pressed. A run moves, so a picture you save will be a different moment.
Shafts
Press Shafts under Presets, then Replay at the top of the panel.
Tyndall mode with more haze and a darker picture than God rays. The light starts high on the right and swings once round the middle of the frame, and the beams turn with it. On these dark sample pictures the beams are faint; the darkening shows most.
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Presets | Shafts |
| Load and save | Replay |
Raise Intensity towards 2 for stronger beams, or lower Base dim to keep more of the picture.
Corona
Press Corona under Presets, then Replay at the top of the panel.
Aureole mode with the strongest and warmest light of the two halo presets. Each pixel picks up light from a short way towards the light, so bright parts smear into soft streaks, and as the light swings round they move with it. At 3.4 seconds it is the slowest preset.
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Presets | Corona |
| Load and save | Replay |
Move Warmth to 0 for a white glow.
Lantern
Press Lantern under Presets, then Replay at the top of the panel.
Alabaster mode. The order follows picture B: its light areas, here the pale figure, show through first and its broad dark areas last. A thick band of very warm light follows the edge between the two pictures.
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Presets | Lantern |
| Load and save | Replay |
Lower Density for a sharper edge between the two pictures, or Intensity for a quieter band.
