Ripple transition guide
Three looks
Each picture below was made in Ripple transition from its two sample pictures, with a preset and Replay, and caught while the ring was moving. The table lists the buttons pressed. A run moves fast, so a picture you save will be a different moment.
Liquid glass
Press Liquid glass under Presets, then Replay at the top of the panel.
The band is almost twice as wide as Default's and pushes harder, so a thick stretch of the picture bends at once, like looking through poured glass. Its colour split is lower than Default's.
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Presets | Liquid glass |
| Load and save | Replay |
For a slower pour, move Transition speed to the left.
Chromatic
Press Chromatic under Presets, then Replay at the top of the panel.
A narrow band holds 42 fine rings, and the red and blue parts drift more than twice as far apart as in Default, so the ring carries coloured fringes. Expo out starts fast and slows sharply, so most of the reveal happens in the first moments.
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Presets | Chromatic |
| Load and save | Replay |
Raise RGB split to 0.05 for the strongest fringe the slider allows.
Psychedelic
Press Psychedelic under Presets, then Replay at the top of the panel.
Every slider is near its top: a wide band, 96 rings, a strong push, a full glow and a heavy noise warp, so the ring melts into uneven bright shapes. At 2.4 seconds it is the slowest preset.
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Presets | Psychedelic |
| Load and save | Replay |
Lower Noise warp to 0 to see the same waves as clean circles.
