Topographic flow guide
Start
The tool opens with two sample pictures, A and B, and the Relief map preset. The frame shows picture A as a map; the panel sits beside it.
What you need
- A current browser with WebGL. Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari all have it.
- Two pictures of your own, if you want them. Any image the browser can open works; the samples are there until you swap them.
Your first result
- Open Topographic flow and tap the picture. The contour lines move while the map of picture A turns into the map of picture B.
- Tap again to go back from B to A. To keep to picture A alone, turn off A → B terrain under Sliders; then a run only moves the lines.
- Press a preset under Presets, such as Copper plate, then press Replay at the top of the panel to see it run.
- At the top of the panel, press the Image A and Image B tiles to pick your own two pictures, or drop two at once.
- Press Save PNG for a still, or Record video to keep one full run.
Good to know
- Every preset keeps A → B terrain on.
- Where you tap does not matter; the whole map moves at once. A tap during a run does nothing. Replay always starts again at once.
- Moving any control takes the highlight off the preset, and the next run uses your settings.
- On a phone the controls sit in a bar at the bottom of the screen. Tap the bar to open them.
