Help

Short answers to what goes wrong most often.

Can I use any picture?

Yes: a photo, a painting, a logo or a drawing, as PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF or SVG. It stays in your browser. Pictures with a clear subject and strong light read best.

Can I write in my own language?

Yes. Type words in any script; Tamil, Hindi, Japanese and the rest use the best font your device has, Latin words use the font you pick.

Why do the tags line up with the picture's edges?

Each row is cut where the tone changes, and the tags in each piece are stretched to fill it exactly, so every edge of the picture falls between two tags.

Can I print it?

Yes. The SVG keeps every tag and word as vector, at any size; the PNG is 4000 pixels on its long side.

The words are too small to read

Lower Rows for bigger tags, or raise Smallest tag. Up close, hover the picture: the loupe shows the words under the pointer large.

The colours look flat or muddy

Keep Auto levels on, try one more or one less under Tones, or pick a preset under Palette. Reset colour takes the colour back to how the picture opened.

Can I record a video, and is it free?

Yes. Take records the tags appearing, tone by tone, in reading order or scattered, as an MP4 in the frame you chose, free and with no sign-in.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The frame carries its own buttons (your picture, next sample, picture and take) and the panel opens as a sheet from the bottom.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Your picture and words are drawn in your browser and the files are saved straight to your device. Only the fonts and the sample pictures are loaded, from aikizi.com.
