What one AI image costs on aikizi, and what that buys
8 credits at 1K, 16 at 2K, 24 at 4K on Nano Banana Pro; 4, 8 and 12 on Nano Banana 2. The full credit table, each plan divided into pictures a month, and the pictures those numbers bought.
Part 1 of 11 · all parts · next → Nano Banana Pro against Nano Banana 2
One picture from Nano Banana Pro costs 8 credits at 1K, 16 at 2K and 24 at 4K. On Nano Banana 2 the same three sizes are 4, 8 and 12. Nano Banana 2 Lite is 2 and renders at 1K only. A Pro plan is $20 a month for 540 credits, which is 33 pictures at 2K on Nano Banana Pro. That is the whole answer; the rest of this page shows the pictures those numbers bought.
The credit table
Everything on aikizi is priced in credits, and every number below is read straight out of the pricing module the Studio and the server both import. Nothing here is rounded.
| What you do | 1K | 2K | 4K |
|---|---|---|---|
| Generate · Nano Banana Pro | 8 | 16 | 24 |
| Generate · Nano Banana 2 | 4 | 8 | 12 |
| Generate · Nano Banana 2 Lite | 2 | — | — |
| Realm generation (same ladder) | 8 / 4 | 16 / 8 | 24 / 12 |
And the things that are not a generation:
| Action | Credits | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Decode an image | 3 | 5 on the pro decode model |
| Decode a video | 10 | 20 on the pro model · Pro plan only |
| Decode a sound | 10 | 20 on the pro model · Pro plan only |
| Upscale | 15 | Leonardo upscaler, on a picture you already have |
| Download from Explore | 10 | Carries the creative-use licence |
| Unlock a style code | 5 | On decodes that carry one |
| Remove a background | 1 | |
| Voice · sound effect · music | 8 · 12 · 24 | 10 minutes a day are free this season |
What 8, 16 and 24 credits actually buy
We ran one prompt three times for this page — a brass kuthuvilakku on a wet granite step at dawn — once at each size on Nano Banana Pro. Here is the cheapest one.
The thing worth knowing before you spend 24 credits: the two pictures above are not one picture at two sizes. The lamp moved, the garland is arranged differently, the background rebuilt itself. Resolution is not a slider on a finished image — each size is its own generation, with its own composition. If you have a composition you already love, the 15-credit upscale keeps it; a new 4K does not. That is the whole argument of part 8, and part 3 puts all three sizes side by side at 100%.
Your plan, in pictures a month
Credits arrive with a plan. Here is each plan divided by the cost of one picture, rounded down, because you cannot make three quarters of a picture.
| Plan | Price | Credits | 2K on Pro (16) | 1K on Pro (8) | 1K on NB2 (4) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0, once | 5 | 0 | 0 | 1 |
| Basic | $8/mo · $84/yr | 180 | 11 | 22 | 45 |
| Pro | $20/mo · $216/yr | 540 | 33 | 67 | 135 |
Read the Free row honestly. Five credits is the sign-up bonus, and one Nano Banana Pro picture at 1K costs 8. The free tier will not make you a Pro picture. It will make you two pictures on Nano Banana 2 Lite at 2 credits each, or one image decode at 3 with 2 left over. That is enough to see whether the decode is worth anything to you, which is what it is for.
The annual prices are the ones to look at if you already know you will stay: $84 a year is $7 a month, $216 is $18. Neither changes the credit count.
What a credit is worth in cash
Dividing the plan by its credits gives about 3.6 cents a credit on either paid plan, so a 1K picture on Nano Banana Pro is roughly 3.7 cents and a 2K one 7.4. Worth knowing because Google publishes its own rate for the same model — $0.134 an image at 1K or 2K, $0.24 at 4K, as of September 2026 — which makes a plan picture roughly a quarter of the list API price. The per-image arithmetic in full.
Where the credits go that are not generation
Most people who run out of credits did not run out on pictures. Downloads are 10 each, and a decode is 3. If you are working from the gallery — 16,000-odd published decodes, each carrying a prompt, a palette and a style DNA — reading them is free; taking the picture home with the creative-use licence is the 10. Part 10 is about working that library without spending.
Sound is the exception this season: voice, sound effects and music from ElevenLabs are free for the first 10 minutes a day on every account, and only then cost 8, 12 and 24. Part 9 builds a reel's whole soundtrack inside that free window.
The honest limits
- Credits do not roll over. A month's unused credits are gone at the refresh; bought credit packs do not expire.
- Basic carries 3 reference images per generation and Pro carries 10. That gap matters more than the credit count if you work with references — see part 4.
- Video and sound decode are Pro only.
- There is no video generation on aikizi. It was retired, and this series does not pretend otherwise.
FAQ
How much does one AI image cost on aikizi?
8 credits for Nano Banana Pro at 1K, 16 at 2K, 24 at 4K. On Nano Banana 2 the same sizes are 4, 8 and 12, and Nano Banana 2 Lite is 2 at 1K only. A realm generation uses the same ladder.
How many images do I get for $20 a month?
The Pro plan is $20 a month for 540 credits. That is 33 pictures at 2K on Nano Banana Pro, 67 at 1K, or 135 at 1K on Nano Banana 2. Basic is $8 for 180 credits, so 11 pictures at 2K.
Can I generate an image on the free plan?
Only on Nano Banana 2 Lite. The sign-up bonus is 5 credits and the cheapest Nano Banana Pro picture is 8, so Free will not reach it. Five credits buys two Lite pictures at 2 each, or one image decode at 3.
Do unused credits roll over to next month?
No. Subscription credits refresh each billing cycle and do not roll over. Credits bought in a one-time pack from your profile do not expire monthly.
Is 4K three times better than 1K?
It is three times the price and roughly sixteen times the pixels, but it is not the same picture enlarged. Each size is generated separately, so the composition changes too. If you already have a picture you like, the 15-credit upscale keeps its composition and a new 4K will not.
The numbers are easier to feel with the Studio open: make one picture and watch the balance move, or read the plans first.
