Ink Weight guide

Keep your work

Everything is made in your browser, and nothing is uploaded. The PNG is standard range (SDR); nothing here is HDR.

ButtonWhat you get
Save PNGink-weight.png: the picture as you see it, at twice the size (a very large one is kept under 16 million pixels), on your paper colour, or on a clear background with Clear paper on.
Save SVGink-weight.svg: every character as live text, in its colour and place, so it stays sharp at any size and can be edited in a design app.
Copy textThe characters on the clipboard as plain text, one line per row, or one line per column in vertical writing, starting from the right.
Save .txtThe same characters in ink-weight.txt.
Record videoOne take of the motion you picked, Rain, Write, Gather or Breathe, 5 or 10 seconds long, as an MP4 (H.264) 1920 pixels on its long side; a browser that cannot write MP4 gets a WebM. It is drawn on your paper colour, and it starts and ends where Play does, so it loops.

Copied text and the .txt file hold only characters, with no colour. When most of the characters are CJK, an empty cell is a full-width space, so the columns line up wherever a CJK font is used. See full-width character.

The SVG names the same fonts the page uses. On a computer without them, the next font in the list draws the characters, so they may look a little different. See font fallback.

Clear paper leaves the PNG and the SVG without a background; the checks in the frame only show you where it is clear.
