Effect
What this is
Material alchemy reads the brightness of the picture as a raised surface and lights it like a real material. Iridescence is the shifting rainbow of a thin film such as a soap bubble; sheen, chrome and jade are the other three surfaces.
How to use it
- Tap the image to pour the material over it.
- Choose a material, then set relief depth and light angle with the sliders.
- Swap in your own two images, then save a PNG or record a video.

Common questions
Where do my pictures go?
Nowhere. They are opened in your browser and drawn on your graphics card. Nothing is uploaded. The pictures you add stay on this device, in this browser, so the other lab tools can open them too; × on a picture removes it.
