Glyph Weave guide

Keep your work

Everything is made in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Every file is standard range (SDR); none is HDR. The size box above the art sets how large the picture is saved; the number beside it is the real pixel size.

ButtonWhat you get
PNGThis frame as a PNG, named after the preset, the seed and the frame, such as glyph-weave-acid-weave-f004-1080x1080.png.
GIFThe whole loop as a GIF with the palette the picture really uses, so no colour is guessed. The file carries every frame of the loop. See LZW compression.
MP4Whole loops as H.264, BT.709, at the length MP4 sets under Motion. Colour is kept for every two-by-two block of pixels, the way video does. See chroma subsampling.
FramesEvery frame of the loop as a PNG in one zip, with glyph-weave.json beside them: the whole state, so the picture can be made again.

Every export is a whole number of loops, so a GIF or an MP4 repeats without a seam. See seamless loop.

The address bar keeps the state after the #, so a link opens the same picture. Press S to star one in the strip below the art; stars stay on this device.
