Noise & texture guide
Keep your work
Everything is made in your browser, and nothing is uploaded. The PNG is standard range (SDR), 8 bits per channel, with no see-through parts.
| Button | What you get |
|---|---|
| Download PNG | The picture as a PNG, named after the noise type and size, such as noise-marble-512x512.png. |
| Copy | The same picture, on the clipboard, where the browser allows it. |
The size is set under Output: 256, 512 or 1024 pixels a side. If the page opened on a phone, a touch screen or a window under 900 pixels wide, 1024 is drawn at 512.
With an image chosen, the PNG takes the image's shape, and its long side is the chosen size.
To make a texture that repeats, turn on Seamless tiling before you save. Then open Tile preview: if you see no join between the four copies, the PNG will tile.
Seamless tiling matches the edges of a square picture. With your own image laid over it, the edges may not match.
