Title
The title is drawn into the PNG and the video, in the look's brightest ink.
What this is
The microphone visualizer draws what your microphone hears, live. The inner ring is the waveform itself, the shape of the sound wave bent into a circle; the rings around it are the spectrum of the last fraction of a second. Speak, sing, clap or play and the ring answers at once.
How to use it
- Press Microphone and allow it in the browser.
- Make a sound; switch modes and looks while it listens.
- Save a PNG of the moment. For a video with sound, play a song instead of the microphone.
Every mode has its own page:
Words: waveform · amplitude · polar coordinates
Common questions
Is the microphone recorded?
No. The sound is measured frame by frame on your computer and thrown away; nothing is recorded, saved or sent, and the microphone is not played through your speakers.
Why does the microphone visualizer not react?
The browser has to be allowed to use the microphone: press the icon in the address bar and allow it, then press Microphone again. On a laptop, the built-in microphone may be switched off in the system settings.
Is it free, and is there a watermark?
It is free. Every mode, the microphone, your own songs and PNG pictures need nothing from you. The video is free too, in 1080p or 4K and for the whole song, however long; it asks you to sign in with Google first. There is no watermark on the video or the picture.
The sample song is Mystic Breeze by cyberyogi.
