What this is
The music visualizer turns a song into a field of particles. Each particle belongs to one slice of the spectrum, low notes near the centre and high ones outside, and it grows when its slice is loud. They circle on the song's loudness added up over time, so a quiet passage drifts and a loud one races, and the same second of the song always puts every particle in the same place.
How to use it
- Press Play the sample or choose a song of your own.
- Try another look, and raise Response for a bigger swell on the beats.
- Press Save video for a 1080p MP4 with the music, or save a PNG.
Every mode has its own page:
Words: particle system · frequency band · seed
Common questions
What is a music visualizer?
A picture that moves with music. This one reads the song's spectrum 43 times a second and hands each band to a group of particles, so bass, voice and cymbals each move their own part of the picture.
How do I save the visualizer as a video?
Press Save video. Pick a shape first if you like (wide 16:9, square, or tall 9:16), 1080p or 4K, and the part of the song with From and To. The page draws every frame at 60 frames a second, adds the song itself as the sound track and your title if you typed one, and saves an MP4 you can post anywhere. It takes about as long as the clip, often less.
Can I make a vertical video for Reels, Shorts or TikTok?
Yes. Under Video choose Tall 9:16 and the picture becomes 1080 × 1920 (2160 × 3840 at 4K); Square 1:1 is there too. Drag From and To to cut a 15 or 30 second clip, add a title, and press Save video. The preview changes shape with you, so what you see is what you get.
Is it free, and is there a watermark?
It is free. Every mode, the microphone, your own songs and PNG pictures need nothing from you. The video is free too, in 1080p or 4K and for the whole song, however long; it asks you to sign in with Google first. There is no watermark on the video or the picture.
Which files can I use?
Any sound your browser can play: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC or OGG. Drop the file on the picture or press Choose a song. A song is listened to once, from start to end, before it plays, so the picture can see what is coming.
The sample song is Mystic Breeze by cyberyogi.
