Title
The title is drawn into the PNG and the video, in the look's brightest ink.
What this is
A spectrogram is a picture of sound over time. Time runs from left to right over the last twelve seconds, pitch runs from 40 Hz at the bottom to 16 kHz at the top on a musical (logarithmic) scale, and each point glows as loud as that pitch was at that moment. The faint lines mark 100 Hz, 1 kHz and 10 kHz.
How to use it
- Press Microphone, or play the sample or a song.
- Read the picture: low sounds sit at the bottom, a whistle draws a thin line, a drum a tall stripe.
- Save a PNG, or a 1080p video of the song's spectrogram with its sound.

Common questions
How do I read a spectrogram?
Left to right is time, bottom to top is pitch, brightness is loudness. A held note is a flat line, a voice is a stack of lines (its harmonics), a drum hit is a short vertical stripe and noise is a haze.
What is the difference between a spectrum and a spectrogram?
A spectrum is one moment: how loud each pitch is now. A spectrogram lays those moments side by side, so you see the spectrum change over time.
Is my song uploaded?
No. The song is read, drawn and turned into video on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded and the sound never leaves your machine; signing in only tells AIKIZI who is saving a video.
The sample song is Mystic Breeze by cyberyogi.
